  • Jazz dance is a fast paced technique based dance style that includes kicks, laps, turns, and sharp movements. This style is very technique driven which means ballet is highly recommended for basic underlying knowledge.

  • Ballet is a technique class base on the Vaganova method. This style includes slow and quick movements and is the underlying technique for all dance styles.

  • Tap is a dance in which the rhythm or rhythmical variation is audibly tapped out with the toe or heel by a dancer wearing shoes with special metal soles.

  • Contemporary takes the ballet and jazz technique and fuses them together is expressive movements to tell the story of the choreographer and the song.

  • Boys looking to join our competition team train with Mr. Erik in male specific styles of dance technique and work on strength training to increase lift abiity.

  • Musical Theatre is a combination of Dance, Singing, and Acting. Work with industry professionals to put on a Musical Theatre Production at the end of each semester!

  • These include beginner/intermediate and advanced ballet, beginner and intermediate aerial arts*, partnering, acro, burlesque, tap, and hip hop.

  • Hip-hop dance is a vibrant, fa t-paced form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art.

  • These combo classes are for students 2.5-6 years old looking to include multiple dance styles into one class.

    We currently have Creative Movement Combo, Tap/Jazz, and Ballet/Acro.

    Creative Movement is a movement based learning environment that is not technique driven.

  • Tap is a dance in which the rhythm or rhythmical variation is audibly tapped out with the toe or heel by a dancer wearing shoes with special metal soles.

  • Acro dance is a style that combines the techniques of classical dance with acrobatic movements. This form of dance is very athletic and has unique choreography to incorporate gymnastic-like elements into dance.

  • Competition students work together to learn how to lift and be lifted within a team setting.

  • We offer Piano, Vocal, Monologue coaching, Audition prep, and Acting for children and adults.

  • Alessi Dance Factory has been a wonderful experience for my child! She joined the competition dance team and has also been taking a musical theatre class. She enjoys the variety of dance disciplines offered (tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, modern, acro, and partnering) and the expert instruction provided by all of the teachers. She has also enjoyed the opportunity to participate in conditioning classes to help improve her fitness which, in turn, improves her dance skills.

  • My child has been dancing for 5 yrs now. She started out shy and not confident. When Ms Helena started working with her, I could see a big difference. My child now has lots of confidence in herself, and she is coming out of her shyness. When Ms Helena decided to open her studio, we had to follow. These instructors care! They have patience, and they listen to their students. If the students have difficulty with a dance move, then I've seen them work with the students until they are comfortable and confident. The studio is very clean with plenty of room. The location is perfect.
